Gerald Charles introduces Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon

Gerald Charles proudly honours its founder, Gérald Charles Genta, with the Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon launch.

Originally conceived by Genta in 2005, this watch revisits the iconic Maestro case with a new twist on tourbillon design, embracing old-style elegance. Limited to 50 pieces, the Roman Tourbillon celebrates Roman architecture and art, highlighted by the Roman numerals on its hand-hammered 18K rose-gold dial.

Each piece is unique because of the intricate, handmade dial, which requires meticulous craftsmanship. The watch also features a blue titanium bezel on a stainless-steel case, achieved through advanced galvanic treatment for durability and aesthetic appeal. It’s the first Gerald Charles watch to combine two-tone colour and materials and includes a hand-stitched blue alligator strap with a new folding clasp.

Technically, the watch boasts a 60-second flying tourbillon with a skeletonized cage shaped like the GC logo, crafted from lightweight Grade 5 Titanium. It offers a 50-hour power reserve, is water-resistant to 10 ATM, shock-resistant to 5G, and includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. This elegant yet sporty timepiece exemplifies Gerald Charles' blend of artistic creativity and technical mastery.
