Audemars Piguet is pleased to present the [RE]Master02 Selfwinding, a tribute to the asymmetrical Model 5159BA from 1960.
The [RE]Master02 expands the collection with a new 41mm sand gold reference, blending historic design with contemporary watchmaking.
Following the [RE]Master01, launched in 2020, this limited edition of 250 pieces features a 41mm asymmetrical case in a new 18-carat sand gold alloy, blending white and pink gold tones.
The “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” dial is divided into twelve triangles with a linear satin finish, creating unique light effects.
Combining vintage aesthetics with modern performance, [RE]Master02 houses the Calibre 7129, an hour and minute movement. With this release, the [RE]Master collection offers contemporary takes on iconic timepieces.
Audemars Piguet has been merging tradition with innovation since 1875, using diverse materials and designs, from classic shapes to unique geometries. The [RE]Master collection, launched in 2020, reinterprets the aesthetic codes of the brand’s rarest timepieces.
In the 1960s, Audemars Piguet embraced Brutalist designs and asymmetrical watches, producing over 30 models between 1959 and 1963. The 5159BA Model from 1960, produced in just seven units, exemplifies this era.
