Audemars Piguet introduces a new limited edition Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon in collaboration with Haute Couture designer Tamara Ralph.
Since 2020, Audemars Piguet and Couture designer Tamara Ralph have collaborated, pairing watches with her Spring/Summer 2021 Prêt-à-Porter collection. Continuing their enduring relationship, they unveil a boldly feminine limited edition Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon inspired by her Couture universe.
Crafted in 18-carat pink gold with Frosted Gold, this edition reflects Tamara Ralph's bold femininity and timeless elegance, featuring a unique palette of graded hues.
Unveiled during Tamara Ralph's runway show on January 22, 2024, at the historic Shangri-La Palace, this collaboration celebrates the natural synergies between Haute Horlogerie and Haute Couture, strengthening Audemars Piguet's longstanding ties with creative realms.
The Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon “Tamara Ralph” Limited Edition boasts an 18-carat pink gold case adorned with Frosted Gold—a technique revisited by jewellery designer Carolina Bucci in 2016.
Audemars Piguet artisans intricately create tiny indentations with a diamond-tipped tool, offering a sparkling effect akin to precious stones. The case's visual impact is heightened by the polished bevel on the octagonal bezel, and the contrast of satin-brushed flanks.
The case back features a glare-proofed sapphire crystal set in an 18-carat pink gold frame engraved with "Royal Oak Concept Limited Edition."
The hexagonal crown, resembling the screws on the bezel, adds a touch of feminine elegance with its satin-brushed and polished finish and a translucent cabochon-cut sapphire.
