Linde Werdelin Oktopus Moon Gold Black Ink

The Oktopus Moon Gold Black Ink is the pinnacle of the second generation Oktopus series, encapsulating the evolution and refinement of its predecessors. Crafted entirely from 18 karat N5 rose gold, the case is meticulously sandblasted to achieve a warm, textured hue that exudes luxury while maintaining a subtle elegance.

This model represents the final release of the Generation II Oktopus line, with Generation I existing only in four series featuring a classic turning bezel. The inaugural Oktopus II debuted in 2011, marking 13 years of innovation and design excellence. Unlike recent Oktopus models, which are our lightest at 60 grams, this ultimate edition is our heaviest, boasting over 100 grams of 18 karat gold and a total weight of 145 grams.

The Black Ink dial, with its complementary matt finish, pairs beautifully with the sandblasted gold, creating a subdued and serene aesthetic. This harmonious blend of textures and finishes underscores the sophisticated design philosophy behind the Oktopus Moon Gold Black Ink.

As a testament to its exclusivity, only eight pieces of the Oktopus Moon Gold Black Ink will be produced per year, making it a truly rare and coveted addition to any collection.

“As the last series of this generation Oktopus, we wanted to express something different and enduring. We have never made an Oktopus in all gold and it has been more than 10 years since we made the SpidoSpeed and SpidoLite in all gold, so this was the missing piece” says Jorn Werdelin about this new stunning timepiece.
