Hanhart has introduced a new special edition watch, limited to 300 pieces: the FLY NAVY Aerosphere.
This robust and reliable watch is essential for flying low over the sea on stormy nights, whether in the Arctic, tropics, ocean, or coastal mountains. It is designed to be precise, reliable, and easy to read both day and night, aiding navigation without additional tools. The German Navy has valued precision and tradition for over 110 years, and Hanhart, since 1882, embodies these qualities in this exceptional watch.
Hanhart's connection to aviation dates back many years. Automatic pilot's watches had to endure extreme vibrations, temperature fluctuations, altitude changes, and weather conditions—challenges still faced by the air force today. Flying over the sea demands precision and understanding of the elements, especially when landing on a swaying deck at night. The limited edition FLY NAVY Aerosphere is designed to be a reliable and precise watch, making it the perfect companion for these challenging situations.
The new FLY NAVY Aerosphere watch blends precision and tradition with maritime details. Its second hand features the trident of Poseidon, the sea god, which is also found on the coat of arms of the naval aviation squadron (Marinefliegergeschwader) 3 'Graf Zeppelin.' Buyers can choose to have either the MFG3 or MFG5 coat of arms embossed on the screw-down case back. The navy blue dial and screw-in crown display the naval aviator command logo, completing the watch's unique marine details.
The embossed coat of arms on the case back symbolizes unity and solidarity. The MFG3 emblem includes a wing and anchor, representing naval aviators, and five stars, symbolizing fidelity, courage, broad-mindedness, reliability, and endurance.
The MFG5 emblem, in use since 2013, features water, a sea eagle, an anchor, and a wing. The sea eagle's head signifies control over the airspace above the sea. This limited edition FLY NAVY Aerosphere is available in 150 pieces for each variant.
